World Book Day – The Tiger Who Came To Tea

Today is world book day and I luckily had found an outfit for LO at the last minute at our local Asda – I decided to get him dressed as “The Tiger Who Went To Tea”.

The book is about a tiger who turned up at a house and ate all the food and drank all the drinks (including all of the tap water) so the family had to go out for a meal at the local restaurant. The following day when the young girl called Sophie and her mother went food and drink shopping they also bought a big tin of tiger food should he come back one day… which he never does.

The fleece onesie was very cheap and even came complete with a detachable tail which was great because the nursery informed me that LO’s friends were trying to pull the tail off! LOL I will definitely keep the outfit for another occasion… I wanted to do a safari theme for LO’s birthday this year so the outfit may come in handy again for August – hopefully he wouldn’t have grown out of it by then but we will just have to wait and see!
